Mihaela Grigore was born on 19.10.1985 in Bucharest. She grew up in her father music shop, listening to cassettes and records, from Michael Jackson to The Prodigy, Kraftwerk, Frankie Knuckles and a lot of punk music. She started to dj as a hobby in the early 2000’s. In 2011 she moved to New York and met a new world of house music. Spending most of her free time in Brooklyn vinyl shops, she became more interested in the local house culture. One year later, after relocating back to her country, she started to dj at Zumbaala and subsequently in other places in Bucharest.
In 2013 she became resident at Zumbaala, her favourite “disco playground”, as she likes to call it, and she recently joined the Sound Glasses Events team.
As a newcomer, she experiences with enthusiasm different music styles, as chill-out, jazz, nu-disco, oldies, Chicago house, deep and tech.
